A new page for Ben's B Book

Big Boy Bed

Tonight while Ben and I were playing in his room we decided to turn his crib into a big boy bed. Ben loves it! He was so excited to be able to get on and off his bed all by himself. It was so cute. He would curl up in the corner and lay there and smile. It made Matt and I feel a little sad because it made Ben seem so grown up. But we are happy for our happy, healthy, and growing boy.

Well, Ben only has been sleeping in his crib about once a month, maybe. That is my fault because I love to have him snuggled up by me all night! He is so cuddly and I love it. Plus Matt and I have a big bed so there is room for all three of us. Two nights ago we were watching a movie on Ben's floor and he fell asleep, so I decided to put him in his crib for the night. Well, around 2:30 in the morning I heard him crying so I went to check on him. He was still sleeping, but I decided to bring him into bed with Matt and me anyways. I know Ben will do just fine in his own bed, I'm just having a hard time with it. Ben should be sleeping in his own room, but I just love to have him right by me!
So tonight when it was time for bed, I said to Ben, let's go get in your big boy bed. He was excited, so I thought I'd just snuggle by him in there until he fell asleep. Once we got onto his bed, he saw that I was serious about going to sleep, and that we weren't in there to play. He got off his bed, grabbed my hand, and pulled me back into Matt and my room and went right to our bed. It was so funny! This happened twice tonight. I guess Ben knows that we sleep in the family bed. Maybe next year we'll try again.

Big boy bed left all alone...

But I get to snuggle with Matt and Ben tonight!

The Adventures of our Life

We have been up to so many fun things lately. I'll post some highlights of our adventures with some adorable pictures. Please enjoy the update!

Halloween was so much fun this year. We had a party, carved pumpkins, and even dressed up. And let me tell you that my boys make the best looking puppies I have ever seen!

A couple weeks ago we went to Disneyland! And yes, it is the happiest place on earth, especially when you're with the ones you love! We had so much fun. We went with our dear cousins. I hope to go back soon. Disneyland at Halloween time is so magical. Actually, being married to Matt is magical!

Toontown was a big hit! I think Ben loved that most. He could have stayed there all day and played car. But we had to take turns with the other kids.

Here are some other cute pictures. Please notice, if you haven't already, that we had different themes going on every day. Day 1: Yellow day. Day 2: BYU day. Day 3: Camo day. Day 4: BBall Shorts day.

Ben thought Handy Manny was so funny. He just wanted to poke his nose.

The boys were such troopers living the life of stroller riders. Us big kids had to take turns riding rides and watching babies. It was fun though. I'd have all three boys cracking up.

Ben having a photo shoot.

While we waited in line for pirates Ben decided to have a nap.

After the nap...

We spent our second day at Sea World. It also was so much fun! You can't help but smile when you're at Sea World.

Waiting in the airport for our flight home.

We made it home safely. And now we just keep having more fun!

Bubbles!

I just can't get enough of this boy.

I just can't get enough of this boy.

And I know they can't get enough of me.

I must say that I was bit saddened when Christmas music wasn't playing on the radio the day after Halloween. I know it's coming though, and I am very excited! I have already been listening to the Forgotten Carols in my car the past couple weeks. And Ben is ready for Christmas too!

Here we are last Christmas. I can't wait to see what's in store for us this year!

And this is our dog Pam. She is no longer with us. But we love her. Pam Pam Pam.

Ben had his first half day of Nursery on Sunday. And according to Ada, "Ben had fun!" Matt went to sit with Ben in there to try it out so in a few weeks when he's official he would be used to it. But Ben fit right in and the Nursery leader told Matt to leave him. I can't believe he is old enough for Nursery. I am sure going to miss him during Sunday School and Young Womens. Seriously, I am! I miss Matt even during Priesthood! I think it should be 5th Sunday lessons every week so we can be with each other all meetings! I did get a new calling that I am super excited for though. On Sunday I got put in as the Mia Maid advisor in YW. I love Young Women's. The leaders I get to serve with are awesome, and the girls are amazing. It is going to be such a good experience. I had my first activity tonight and loved it. It's so good to be back! Now I just need for Matt to get a calling in the YM so we can still be together on 5th Sundays!

What I love most is my Eternal Family. I am so grateful that I get to be with my Husband Matt and Baby Ben forever! They make me the happiest in life. They are definitely worth living for! I am so blessed and grateful.

I hope you've enjoyed the update, and please enjoy the adventures in your life! Because I do!

Happy October!

Alright, so I must say I have a lot to post about and say. So many cute pictures of Ben. But I need to go to bed! So I'll just write a little, and post a few adorable pictures.

Okay, Number 1:
In my health class the past couple of weeks we've had this lady from child abuse prevention come and talk to us and train us on child abuse. I am completely grossed out about the creepy people in this world! I try to have a basic faith in humanity, but it is hard to when there are such scary things going on. I have to write a paper on this, so let me know if you're interested in hearing that. Anyways, 1 in 5 children are victims of sexual abuse! And 93% of those kids were abused by someone they know! Scary, creepy! I am just so thankful that I can leave my Benny with people I love and trust. And please teach your children to not keep secrets. That is a bad idea!

Number 2:
This is connected to number one. I have officially decided that our blog is going private. After being so disgusted of creepy people, it is time. I just about deleted my blog all together yesterday, but I enjoy looking at it myself. So I am going private. I said this last year too, but the privacy never took place. I still have your email addresses if you want to check out our blog still, I will add you. If you never left your email address, please do if you want to check us out. This is really taking place by next week. Thank you.

Number 3:
We are home from Boston. Our summer sure was lovely there and we absolutely loved it! Great memories were created. I am going to make a book called "Our Boston Adventure." So be sure to ask to see it. It's nice to be home again. Our home is wonderful and it is so nice to have it back. It is nice to have family close as well. :)

Number 4:
My husband Matthew is a sweetheart!

Number 5:
My baby Ben is adorable!

Number 6:
Life is a treat!

Number 7:
We are a happy family!

Number 8:
Just what you've been waiting for... Pictures!!!!

Boston MA, Temple. Beautiful!

Lover of church clothes!

Lover of pajamas. Especially Halloween ones!

I had to get a picture with the pants too. And Ben is playing his favorite game, Car! We play it at least five times a day.

Almost a tiger for Halloween. We changed our minds. You will just have to wait and see what we have in store. It's a surprise! And Ben liked this costume, he was just upset because he wanted to play ipod or camera or some sort of technology thing.

Driving the boat. Our 1 and only trip to Bear Lake this summer. So fun!

Number 9:
I know I am not a consistent Blogger, and many of you would like me to be, but sorry. I have to space them out so you can really appreciate my posts! :)

Number 10:
Glee was amazing tonight!

Number 11:
Good night! And good morning! And good afternoon! Depending on when you read this. For me it's a good night! Time for my favorite part of the day... snuggling with my boys.

A month has gone by, and only 10 more days!

Living in Boston this summer has been such an adventure and so much fun! I cannot believe it is coming to an end. We are ready to come back home though, and have soft carpet, no ticks, and especially family. Here are some pictures of the fun things we have been up to.

Swinging at Sunset Lake Park

Riding the T to Fanuel Hall

Family Photo

Playing a very fun game with Dad!

Red Sox Game!

Fenway Park

Our new friends the Millers! We hiked a mountain. I was sore for days.

Boston Children's Museum.

Breaking a move on the dance floor.

A date with Momma to the City of Boston.

So funny, so cute. Playing video games.

Playing on the floor. This is where we miss our carpet. But we have learned to play fun games on hard floor, and plus it is easier to slide on.

Ben's new back pack. I about cried when he put it on. He looked too grown up, like he was leaving me to go to school. I don't know how I'm going to handle being away from Ben when I go back to school. He is just too much fun!!!

A spure of the moment trip to visit the Muir family in Conneticut. It was so much fun. Ben thought Cheryl was Grandma Kelly. It was hilarious! He was not one bit scared of her. It took only part of the day for Ben to warm up to the rest of the girls.

We went into New York City for Candice's birthday. Here we are arriving at Grand Central Station.

The Benjamin Hotel!

Dylan's Candy Bar. This was an amazing candy shop! Loved it!

We got to eat at Serendipity.

Late Show

Time Square. Ben was happy as he could be here. Bright lights everywhere!

Matt drove to Conneticut after work on Saturday, and then we all went to New York City together with our friends Adam, Megan, Annette, and Ryan. We had a fun day and there was so much to see and do.

This was so cool to see and be in.

Temple. Amazing!

Central Park. So cool. I liked it just because Enchanted was filmed here! Behind you see the fountain from the movie that they danced around. My favorite part of the movie!

Big Daddy scene!

Looking at the ducks in the pond. I absolutely love Daddy and Benny moments.

Matt happy with his churro.

Ben happy with his water bottle with cool lid.

Megan took some adorable pictures of Ben while we were shopping on Canal Street.

Ben posing for Megan. So adorable!!!

I hope you have enjoyed again, looking at our life. See you all soon!

Some Holiday Fun!!

Pictures are back up and working! We have had weekfuls of fun events. Braintree celebration, 4th of July, and Halloween! Please enjoy looking at our pictures.

FINALLY the rain stopped, so we went out to sit by the pool one evening.

Ben loves to help push Chloe in her stroller.

For some reason Ben really likes to swim when he has his clothes on.

Braintree Independence Day Celebration.

Ben and Olive watching the girls ride on the swings.

Ben's first carousel ride. It was so funny! He new exactly what to do on his horse, like he had done this before, but he kept a straight face the whole time.

Carousel Ride.

Ben thought it looked so fun to sit in our Chili's take out bag. We pretended it was a train, it was so fun!

Ben and Cole swimming.

Ben and all the girls behind him laying out. This is what we do on sunny days!

Ella's 1st Birthday Party.

FOURTH OF JULY FUN!

Watching the parade. Matt had to work today, so we went off on an adventure with some of the girls. We found this cute little city parade in the town we go to church at.

4th of July BBQ with some friends.

Ben! This was his second fourth of July outfit for the day. At the parade this morning Ben tried drinking Coke on his own, so you can imagine what happened. :)

Ben enjoying all the fun!

Daddy and Ben

Me, Ben, and Cole. It is so much fun out here. There are so many other cute little kids for Ben to play with. We love friends! This little boy Cole is perhaps one of my favorites!

Playing on the beach. (Matt is the one with the frisby)

Classic writing in the sand.

Ben fell fast asleep in the car when we left the beach. He just had too much fun today!

THE NEXT DAY.

Family photo before the fireworks started.

Watching the fireworks in Hingham. Ben would try and touch the fireworks. He's so funny! (This picture was taken by Adam Dahl. He's pretty good!)

AND JUST SOME MORE FUN PICTURES.

Ben and I got to babysit Cole one day. It sure was fun. We were going to a baby shower, so I was in the bathroom changing my clothes. When I came out, this it where I found the boys, on Ben's bed playing. It was so cute!

This is probably Ben's number one favorite thing to do. I think that he will be the first one year old with his own working computer.

Ben likes to play in his chair after he eats.

I just knew that viewers would enjoy this picture of Ben. You just gotta love that face!

Matt's company treated us to dinner at Cheesecake Factory on Saturday Night. It was delicious! And I was so proud of Ben. He didn't even try to escape out of his highchair this time, and he ate so well! We definately high fived after this outing!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! One of the guys Matt works with loves Halloween. So for his birthday every year he has a Halloween party. Here is just a little taste of the night.

Matt, Ben, and I went to the party dressed as Hannah Montana and her two bodyguards, "Macho" and "Mini". Matt looked pretty dang tough, and Ben was the most adorable thing I have ever seen. Unfortunatly, I do not pass as a pretty blonde. Matt is grateful for his brown haired beauty!

Macho and Mini are the best bodyguards I've ever had! They definitely are getting a pay raise after tonight.

Adam and Megan. Adam's look is sure a classic.

The birthday boy Kevin and his wife Rachel. They really know how the throw a party!

"Where the Wild Things Are." The costume contest winners! Matt's boss Ty and his wife Staci's costumes were amazing!

There was even a cotton candy machine!

I hope you've enjoyed looking at our life. We are sure having a marvelous time out here in Boston, but are excited to be coming home in about a month and a half. Take care everyone! Go Red Sox!!!

Pictures...

I was going to update our blog tonight, but for some reason I cannot upload our new pictures to the computer. I will figure it out somehow, and then try again another time. Until then, good day!
